Anti-vibration components cushion or eliminate the vibration of moving systems such as engines, chassis and exhaust systems in order to increase the comfort and safety of the passenger(s) and reduce the engine and driving noise in the passenger compartment.

The systems rely on the physical basic concepts of deletion, decoupling and damping.  The product’s know-how is in particular vested in the rubber mix (compounds - which need to be of constant quality e.g. in varying temperature conditions), in the bonding solution between the rubber and the metal parts of the system (critical for the solidness of the system) and in the geometric design of the anti-vibration parts.

The characteristics of the component must be complementary to the influencing forces which can be of different strengths, dimensions and directions.

The Anvis group is a leading international developer and manufacturer of anti-vibration systems for the automotive industry, expansion joints etc. for various industries including the railways as well as other fields such as the manufacture of rubber mixtures.
